Mathematical Language

$2 The purpose of this foldable is for students to list and organize symbols (mult & div only), words, and phrases for each of the operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). I use this when tranlating phrases into algebraic expressions.

As we all know language to explain our thinking is so important. The knowledge of what symbols mean is vital to help record mathematical equations.
